Description

2011 UPDATE:
I've updated the original .jpeg that I created on Photoshop to a hi-res vector image that I created using Adobe Illustrator. I've been updating my older logos to higher resolution primarily because it's given me a chance to learn a lot about Illustrator.

2008 DESCRIPTION:
I created this logo for a series of "propaganda posters" that I made for a college art project that were meant to poke fun at some of the more ridiculous aspects of the War on Terror.
I created this specific logo because I thought it sounded sufficiently "edgy" at the time, since manifest destiny is still kind of an uncomfortable word for many Americans. I'd love to say I had some deeper, darker meaning behind it, but it was mainly because I couldn't think of anything else at the time. Go figure.

I'm sure this is what many artists do as well, and then they just bullshit a better-sounding reason later on. I'll let you know when I come up with one.

Here are the propaganda posters I created:

As I'm about to post this, I'm starting to wonder if there's any copyright laws regarding fair use of government emblems, so if anyone thinks it's illegal to post something like this here, just let me know and I'll take it down.
