Theodore Roosevelt had listened to the legends ever since he was a child....of armored winged creatures that hid in the unexplored regions of the world.
He had heard how the smaller ones (still as big as a horse!) could burn entire forests to ash, and how the older, wiser ones could wield ancient magick, sending forth tidal waves and volcanoes to destroy whole cities.

He had heard these legends...but never realized they were true until he encountered one in an underground cave on his ranch in the Badlands of North Dakota. He barely survived the encounter, but managed to kill the beast by collapsing the entire cave. It was then that he knew he was born to do this.

He never lost that thirst for the hunt, and throughout his life he hunted all manner of legendary beasts when he had the time, from the lumbering sasquatch of Montana to the wily road trolls of Illinois.

Finally, after retiring from politics near the end of his life, he returned to his first great love. As the last pieces of the world map were being filled in, he headed to Africa, searching for the last of the dragons.....

Hollywood, why aren't you making this?!

This is my first critique, I'm trying really! I'm sorry if I offend you <img src="e.deviantart.net/emoticons/f/f…" width="15" height="15" alt=":(" title=":( (Sad)"/> Ok, It sort of took me a second to understand this design. Once I realized that the dragon was not a part of the face as an extension of his mustache it made a bit more sense. I really like the calm, refined color palette you used and the suggestion of a parody of the ridiculous yet lovable "Abe Lincoln, Vampire Hunter."
It's cute, quirky, and clever with good colors but over all the simple design doesn't make a ton of sense. I couldn't stop looking at the dragon as odd facial hair.
